Did Concert Queen Pops Fernandez go with cutie Brad Turvey in Australia? Did Brad really introduce Pops to his parents and friends?
Last May 9, Friday, at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Pops and Brad were reportedly seen together arriving from Australia. The two were believed to have spent time together in Australia for two weeks.
"I was in Australia. Brad was there also. Obviously he lives in Australia so we kinda planned it around. My friends were all there also. It's a plan that we made about a year ago. I met some of his friends", Pops said. On the other hand, Brad told The Buzz that they spent a bit of time there together because they haven't spent a lot of time here. Pops also met his mom. "The whole reason why I was there was to visit my mom. She also met my friends", Brad said.
Pops added that the reason she went to Australia was to rest and research as well. "Meron akong clothing line, Pipay design. Bale ang ginawa ko sa Australia was to vacation and relax. But most importantly I also did some research kung ano yung mga style nila for summer, mga bags nila", Pops said.
There were also rumors that the Australia trip was a big secret. "No big secret. I felt naman na hindi ko kailangan i-announce everytime I'd go on a vacation but it wasn't really a secret. Siguro people were excited about the whole thing or excited na pag may panibagong silang nakikitang kaibigan or something like that. Sanay na ko don. I have a life anyway and why not, I'm not doing anything bad naman", Pops explained. "It's not that we try to deny it or hide it. It was because it came as a lot of surprise to a lot of people. For me, age never really matters. For now, we are just happy enjoying each other's company", Brad added.
Aside from this Australian trip, there are also stories that Brad was the reason why Pops transferred to his home station. With this issue, Pops said, "Of course not. I have my own career plan and my own professional life, and it's definitely not because of that. Nasagot ko na 'yung fact kung bakit ako lumipat, because of other things."
